A funny thing happened at the wedding of Laura Jensen to Stephen Schulte on Saturday June 17, 2006 in Harlan.  We looked around at the reception and found a bunch of the Class of 78.  So while we waited for the bride and groom to arrive, we had a little mini-reunion with 10 of our classmates. 

So here's how everybody showed up.  Sheryl Sondergaard's niece Laura Jensen married Connie Schulte's nephew Stephen Schulte.  Mark Jensen is Laura's dad Wade Jensen's 1st cousin.  Deb Leinen is married to Stephen's mom's (Joann Muell) brother Danny Muell.  Randy Bruck is married to Stephen's dad's (Gary Schulte) sister Julie Schulte.  Donna Schechinger and Galen Grabill's daughter Billie Jo was a bridesmaid.  Ruthanne Grimsley, Steve Schnuettgen and John Henscheid were just there for the free beer (just kidding, they were friends of the families, but no direct or indirect relation).  Unfortunately, Galen had to leave before the pictures were taken to race at the Shelby County Speedway (where he has been very successful over the years).
